Covid-19

Please read over carefully. Returning the reservation means you have read and understood the new changes to the parks and our services.

Due to Covid-19, there have been many important changes to both the theme parks and our services. Stone Vacation Services follows the latest updates based on guidance from health authorities, such as the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and appropriate government agencies.

Please carefully read over the summary of theme park changes below:

*Park Reservations*

Attendance is managed via the Disney Park Pass Reservation system, which is only available to guests with valid admission. To enter a park, both a park reservation and valid admission are required and must be for the same park on the same date. This applies to all guests ages 3 and above.

*This will be your first priority since Disney is operating at a lower capacity. You will want to have your dates set, tickets purchased, and park reservations made especially during any busy time at the parks. Busy times are when school is out or any Holiday.

ENHANCED CLEANING

Cleaning procedures are currently enhanced throughout Walt Disney World Resort, where attractions are thoroughly cleaned every 2 hours. Extra attention is given to high-traffic areas, including elevators, escalators, handrails, benches, tables, handles, restrooms, transportation vehicles, etc.

PHYSICAL DISTANCING

Cast Members are trained to safely engage with guests and ensure physical distancing guidelines in common areas and queues. Directional signage and ground markings have been installed throughout Walt Disney World to help guests navigate common areas while practicing physical distancing.

This also applies to ride queues.

PHYSICAL BARRIERS

Physical barriers have been added in select places where it is difficult to maintain strict social distancing guidelines. These may be visible in areas around cash registers or at Guest Relations.

PARKING

Cashless payment is recommended at the Auto Plazas. Cars will be directed to park in every other parking space at the theme parks in order to maintain social distancing while exiting your vehicles. Parking does not open until 1 hour before the park’s opening time. Example: If Animal Kingdom’s park opening time is 9 am, the Animal Kingdom parking gate opens at 8 am.

FACE COVERINGS

Face coverings are required for all guests ages 2 and up. You may remove your face covering while actively eating or drinking, but you should be stationary and maintain appropriate physical distancing. Face coverings must have ear straps and gaiters are not permitted.

TEMPERATURE SCREENINGS

Contactless temperature screenings are required for entry. Anyone displaying a temperature of 100.4 or above will be directed to an additional location for rescreening and further assistance. Those with temperatures 100.4 or above will not be allowed entry; those in their party will not be allowed entry either.

DINING RESERVATIONS

Dining reservations are open, but only for 60 days in advance.

We are happy to help book reservations based on availability.

FAST PASS CHANGES

As you may know, Disney has temporarily discontinued their FastPass service. Some of the lines may look intimidating, but don’t fret! Because of the social distancing rules in place, lines extend much further than we’re used to seeing.

By visiting the parks and studying crowd control ourselves, our tour guides know where to go and when, ensuring the minimum wait time. We understand how to effectively and safely take you through the park to maximize your time at Disney – with or without a FastPass!

Wait Times

Minimum wait times 15-25 minutes

Maximum wait times 35-45 minutes

(This tends to happen when rides go down or have delayed openings)

Start Times

Tours start 45 minutes to an hour before the park posted opening time.

(This early start time has you inside the parks riding rides ahead of the general public)

NO FIREWORKS, PARADES, MEET-AND-GREETS

Currently, Disney is not scheduling fireworks, parades, shows, or character meet-and-greets. However, there have been surprise mini parades and character appearances popping up multiple times a day. The times are randomized, and Disney does not release these details to the public in order to prevent crowds from gathering.

PHOTOS

Cast Members are no longer permitted to take photos with guests’ phones or cameras. Our tour guides can use their phones to capture those photos for you and send them directly to your phone at the end of the tour.

Some example scenarios that can cause a longer wait time:

  • Weather Conditions
    • Our guides know Florida weather is unpredictable – because of this, we always have a plan to coordinate outdoor rides with optimal weather. Usually, outdoor rides will happen at the start of the day, in case of any Florida afternoon storms!
  • Rides open late or break down
    • Whenever a ride is not operating – no matter the reasoning – all guests currently in line must exit. This can cause rides in the surrounding area to overflow, especially if more than one ride goes down within a close proximity.

Please note that at this time we cannot guarantee the following attractions:

  • 7 dwarfs mine train
  • Peter Pan
  • Star Wars Rise of the Resistance

This is due to delayed openings or break downs that occur daily with Peter Pan and 7 dwarfs mine train.

For the Rise of the Resistance, there is no regular line for this attraction. The only way to get onto this attraction is to obtain a boarding pass. Boarding passes are obtained through the Disney App and are available at two times of the day, 7 am and 1 pm. These passes are first come, first served and are gone in 2 seconds. Even if you were able to get a pass, Disney cannot guarantee this attraction due to break downs that are still occurring for this attraction.
